Our shop, Wild for Flowers, is situated in the cobbled Old High Street in Folkestone at the heart of the area being regenerated by the Creative Foundation to provide the town with a selection of galleries, studios and other creative businesses. The business is owned and run by Maria Smith and Carol March, both of whom have a background in art and design with Maria being accepted at Chelsea for Textile Design and Carol gaining a degree in fine art at Canterbury’s Christ Church University.
Floristry experience has been gained at various prestigious florists including Angel Flowers, Islington where Maria designed work for a variety of celebrities including the late Queen Mother.
Our aim is to provide a bespoke service to our customers using only the finest of flowers which we source directly from Holland, so whether you need a single stem or an entire event designed you can be sure of quality and individuality. |
